Button Creatures
I used a black permanent marker to add detail to my creatures. Then, once you've created your creatures, and used some of your button stash, create a layout to showcase your button creatures. Here is a layout I created using button creatures:

Sketch Idea with sample layout
This month, Jen, our DT Coordinator, was inspired by this fun sketch from Pagemaps.
I love the circles and the combination of patterned papers! Thank you Jen!
And if you decide to create a page with this sketch, make sure you let us know where to find it! :)

Step by Step
Supplies:
- 8.5”X11” patterned paper for the background
- 8”X10.5” piece of cardstock (I used kraft)
- one photo cropped to 5.5”X4”
- 2 pieces of the same patterned paper cut to 4”X2 1/8”
- 1 strip of patterned paper measuring ½”X 9 ¾”
- 1 strip of paper for the journaling 1 ¾”X9 ¾ “
- 1 Heidi Swapp damask sticker (in white) cut in half
- 4 photo corners
- alpha stickers for your title
- a few flowers and brads
1/ Glue the cardstock to the background paper then frame the photo with the two pieces of paper (the 4”X2 1/8” pieces) on each side of it.
2/Print or handwrite your journaling on the wider strip of patterned paper (make sure you leave enough room to tuck it under the other strip and for the photo corners.
3/ Place the two strips of paper under your photo but do not glue them until you position and adhere the damask sticker that you previously cut in half. Place the photo corners.
4/ Finally adhere everything and add your title with various stickers and embellish with a couple of flowers and brads.

Make a page about Friendship: a new one, an old one that keeps blooming, anything!
Use butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, birds, eggs, shamrocks and swirls on your page
The festivities from St. Patrick’s day like the green you wore or the green food you ate
Make an Easter Garland using oval shaped chipboard or cardstock then decorate them to look like eggs or bunnies to get ready for the Holiday.
Add a Seussical title to you next page in honor of Dr. Seuss' March birthday
Create a page about you and why you love being a woman or a woman you honor for Women’s Day
Make a page about chocolate; of you love it, hate it, your favorite in honor of Chocolate week.
Make a page of why you are lucky in honor of your Irish luck
Create a page about your middle name and what it means and why your parents picked it
A page showing your house all clean after Spring cleaning
