February 2011 Challenge - Alter embellishments

The challenge this month is to alter your embellishment(s). Take your embellishing to another level! There are many ways to do this, interpret as you wish. Here are a few examples:

Add pearls or rhinestones to rub-ons:


Swipe letters with paint:


Tie ribbon or jute to premade pieces:


Stitch a premade tag, add stickles to letters:

This month it's all about SNOW and COLD!!!! You may not have snow at your house and it may still be 80 degrees some days so if this is the case go BLUE!


Layout requirements:
~Use a Picture of Snow on Your page
~Or use the color blue on your page
~ Or a snow embellishment or paper
(look for these in past kits or upcoming kits)

This month with it being the start of the New Year this contest is all about Firsts. First's of the year, first's for you, first's for you kids.....anyway you want to interpret it. Let's make this an easy one to kick off the new year!

Monthly Challenge= Brown and Orange

This month it's all about fall colors. Use the orange and brown as the main colors of your layout. Throw in any other colors that you like but let's see how festive you can get! Orange and Brown just need to be on there.

October Challenge: "I can't believe..."

Your challenge for this month is a journaling/title challenge: Use the sentence "I can't believe..." in your journaling or in your title.

Here is my example created with the September kit #3:

"I can't believe you're a Middle Schooler!"

September 2010 Contest and Challenge

Did you know that every month TTT offers both a contest and a challenge and for both you can win prizes? The contest is for past or current customers of TTT as you do need to use a TTT kit to enter. We also offer a challenge and this is open to anyone and you DO NOT need to use a TTT kit to enter. So here are the details for both this month.

#1-September 2010 Monthly Contest:
The new Page Maps for Sept came out today and I love several of them. I picked this one so go ahead and make a page using this sketch. That is all you need to do! Please feel free to vary photo sizes...use the sketch as you see fit.

Well, it's back to school time. Maybe your kids or grandkids or your friend's kids or whoever went back to school in Aug or this month. So it is the perfect time to make some school pages. Use this years photos or catch up on past years' photos.

Primary Colors: RED, BLUE, and YELLOW!

With back to school coming up soon I challenge you to use Primary colors on your layout, RED, BLUE and YELLOW, this month. Use one or all 3! The more you use the more times I will put your name in the drawing. This should be fun! You can make back to school layouts or something less traditional like a trip to the zoo.
