Lindsey Loves these in 2008

As the snow is falling (by the bucketful!) I'm going into my 2008 scrapbook to pull out some of my favorite paper pages. Usually, my favorites do *not* tend to be others', which I kinda like. Let's see, we'll go in order.

Ok, hang on just one minute. I just went through my 158 pages so far for the year, and I picked out 24 favorites. Wha? LOL! I'm changing the plan and picking two fav boy pages and two fav girl pages.

Here are my two fav pages of Matthew this year:

Don't jump, LEAP! by Lindsey Krauss.
Supplies: Paper: Fancy Pants, Letters: Basic Grey
Rub-ons: Kaiser, Tool: MM Edge Scraper, Pen: Bic Mark-it
Sketch: PageMap.

Boys Will be Boys by Lindsey Krauss.
Supplies: Paper: Pink Paislee.
(TTT September kit)

And here are two of my favorites of McKenna - man, did I just love everything about that Vintage Moon! :)

Sugar & Spice by Lindsey Krauss.
Paper: Pink Paislee.
(TTT September kit)

Her true colors...

Spaghetti Uh Oh by Lindsey Krauss.
Paper: Scenic Route, Letters: Thickers
Flowers: Prima, Brads: MM. Sketch: PageMap.

And don't tell anyone, but I just had to sneak one more in there with the two kids together. Getting to two in one frame is tough at best, unless I add them there together digitally... So not only does the photo touch my heart, but the looks on their face over the tiniest little bud of a sunflower does, too!

1 Sunflower by Lindsey Krauss. Supplies:
1: photo
2: Cardstock: Bazzill, other
3: Buttons: other
4: Paper: Cosmo Cricket
5: Numbers: Heidi Swapp, handwritten
6: Stitching Stickers: Kelly Panacci
7: Flowers: Prima
8: Rubons: Basic Grey
9: Letters: Horizon Group
10: Brads: MM
Sketch: Shawna at Busy Bee.
Have a safe, healthy and happy New Year!!!

Chrissy's Favorites of 2008

I agree with all the other DT gals. This was much harder than I thought. Most of my pages are of my baby girl and well.....I love them ALL because she is such a doll. It is so funny to look back at my pages and see how much she has grown. Well, here it goes:

I chose this page because my family is so important to me. I don't know where I would be without them!
I chose the next page because...well...it's about me and I don't scrap alot of ME pages!! Riding horses is my passion. I have been riding since I was five and it defines me and who I am.

I chose the next layout because fall is my favorite season. When I saw the dress my little girl has on I screamed in excitement. I could not wait for our fall trip so I could snap some pics of her in her dress!!
Wow! Only one more. I don't think I can pick. UGH!! Ok, ok! My last pick for ONE of my favorite layouts is a layout I recently completed. My mom and step-dad came to visit for Thanksgiving and since we only see them three times a year it was a very special time. Well, my mom can be trouble and boy did she make a big mess this day. She and my little girl decided to make cookies. The layout speaks for itself and is a WONDERFUL memory!

2008 Favorites by Chrystal Riddell

Gosh this was WAY harder than I thought it would be! I think I'll have to post the rest on my own blog because I hated to leave any out. Funny that all the ones I picked happened to have one photo, with lots of "white space." If you would have asked, I would have said using white space was a weakness. I guess this proves that we shouldn't be so hard on ourselves about little things and just enjoy what we create. It may end up being a favorite later!

I love all of these first, and foremost, because of the photos. They all are so full of personality and really bring the memory back all by themselves. The rest is just the fun stuff...

I still remember this day and get a little teary. 4th birthday celebration day at school. Jack didn't want to take off that crown, so I took some sweet photos at the post office of all places!

I could just eat her up! This page is all my favorites...my sweet Carolina laughing, Anna Griffin goodies, houndstooth with pink and green, glitter. Yum!

Photobucket

Again, love this one for the memory. And I was proud that so few products could make a favorite page. It really IS about the moments, not the stuff...

Photobucket

Ok, this one is a tad more materialistic.I loved these wood and fabric glittered leaves from the craft section. I also used a distressed paper scrap from almost two years ago. Go, me! And, of course, who could resist that precious face.

Thanks, Monica for giving me a good cry : )
