Monthly Kit Contest April 2011

Ok fellow scrappers, I know how it is. YOU are always BEHIND the camera and NOT in FRONT of it. SO, your challenge is to create a project using a TTT kit that is ALL ABOUT YOU!!

You can create a page, a card, a mini album, or alter something BUT the requirement is that you have to include a picture of YOU!

Contest Guidelines:
You need to use a current or past kit from Transparent Touches, and when you share your project with us, please specify which kit you have used.

Deadline is midnight PST April 30th.

Share your layout with us one of 3 ways-
1. Share your layouts on the message board and in the user gallery.
2. Include a link to your entry in the TTT blog post regarding this contest.
3. Include a link to your entry in the facebook post regarding this contest.

One winner will be drawn to win a TTT prize pack!

Anyone can participate. Two page LO's count as 1 page.

April 2011 TTT Kits

TTT April 2011 kits are up!

(You do not have to be a TTT kit member to purchase kits and sale items)

If you haven't already emailed me to let me know which kit(s) you'd like for April..please do so. When you send your reservation email....please put in the subject line April Kit #___ in the subject. Please include your first AND last name in your email. If you would like to order an extra kit, just let me know which ones you'd like and I will put you down for those. I try to keep up with the kit emails as they come in so I know when a kit is sold out...please assume that you got your first choice, unless you get an email from me letting you know that it was already sold out before your email came in. If you have a question in your email, I do try to answer those quickly. If you are adding on anything extra, please let me know what your paypal address is too so I can send you an invoice. Thanks!**

April kits will ship later this month--April 15-20th. The DT layouts with the kits will be revealed later this month on the TTT blog and the User Gallery

Monthly Sketch Layouts-March 2011

Every month the Design team creates a layout with their kits all using the same sketch. It is alot of fun to see the different interpretations of the same sketch. Transparency Tuesday!

Every month the design team creates pages with transparency from the Transparent touches store. Sometimes they are full 8.5x11 pages, journal spots, bracket blocks, or the fun ones that come in your kit. March 2011 Dt Kit Reveal-Kit #2

This month the March Kit #2 featured the new line For the Record by Echo Park featuring 8 sheets of double sided patterned paper, plus matching stickers and journaling cards. My favorite addition to this kit are the Jenni Bowlin banner and alphabet stickers. These things seem to be the hottest new trend right now!

March 2011 DT Kit Reveal-Kit #1

This month the March Kit #1 featured the new Echo Park Springtime line complete with 9 double sided sheets of patterned paper, matching stickers and journaling cards. I would have to say that my favorite part of the kit were the rosettes as they are hot stuff right now!

Pocket Card - STEP by STEP

Pocket Card

Instructions

1. Start by cutting a 4x12 piece of double-sided patterned paper.

2. On the side that you want to be the inside of the card, score at the 4-inch and 8-inch mark vertically.
3. Fold the left-most portion over the middle portion. On the right-most portion, I've drawn a line here to indicate where I will be cutting (from the top-left corner to the bottom-right).
4. Cut as indicated. Apply glue to the bottom of the triangle only.
5. Fold the triangle over the middle section (lift up the other side first) and press to adhere the glue, creating the pocket.
6. Embellish as desired.
7. Fill pocket!

Yes, that's right, for this month contest, you have to mix your kits!!!
Basically, use 2 of more kits into one project!!!
You can create a page, a card, a mini album, or alter something BUT the requirement is that you have to use items from at least 2 TTT kits!

You need to use current or past kits from Transparent Touches, and when you share your project with us, please specify which kits you have used.
Please refer to the "rules post" in this forum for additional details.

Due date for this contest is midnight PST April 15th. Winner will be determined by random drawing.

You can enter as many times as you like (2 page LOs count as one entry).

You can post your project two ways: share it with us on this post or in the comment section of this blog post by linking your layout (from another gallery or your personal blog). I look forward to seeing your entries.
