Lindsey Loves these in 2008

As the snow is falling (by the bucketful!) I'm going into my 2008 scrapbook to pull out some of my favorite paper pages. Usually, my favorites do *not* tend to be others', which I kinda like. Let's see, we'll go in order.

Ok, hang on just one minute. I just went through my 158 pages so far for the year, and I picked out 24 favorites. Wha? LOL! I'm changing the plan and picking two fav boy pages and two fav girl pages.

Here are my two fav pages of Matthew this year:

Don't jump, LEAP! by Lindsey Krauss.
Supplies: Paper: Fancy Pants, Letters: Basic Grey
Rub-ons: Kaiser, Tool: MM Edge Scraper, Pen: Bic Mark-it
Sketch: PageMap.

Boys Will be Boys by Lindsey Krauss.
Supplies: Paper: Pink Paislee.
(TTT September kit)

And here are two of my favorites of McKenna - man, did I just love everything about that Vintage Moon! :)

Sugar & Spice by Lindsey Krauss.
Paper: Pink Paislee.
(TTT September kit)

Her true colors...

Spaghetti Uh Oh by Lindsey Krauss.
Paper: Scenic Route, Letters: Thickers
Flowers: Prima, Brads: MM. Sketch: PageMap.

And don't tell anyone, but I just had to sneak one more in there with the two kids together. Getting to two in one frame is tough at best, unless I add them there together digitally... So not only does the photo touch my heart, but the looks on their face over the tiniest little bud of a sunflower does, too!

1 Sunflower by Lindsey Krauss. Supplies:
1: photo
2: Cardstock: Bazzill, other
3: Buttons: other
4: Paper: Cosmo Cricket
5: Numbers: Heidi Swapp, handwritten
6: Stitching Stickers: Kelly Panacci
7: Flowers: Prima
8: Rubons: Basic Grey
9: Letters: Horizon Group
10: Brads: MM
Sketch: Shawna at Busy Bee.
Have a safe, healthy and happy New Year!!!

Chrissy's Favorites of 2008

I agree with all the other DT gals. This was much harder than I thought. Most of my pages are of my baby girl and well.....I love them ALL because she is such a doll. It is so funny to look back at my pages and see how much she has grown. Well, here it goes:

I chose this page because my family is so important to me. I don't know where I would be without them!
I chose the next page because...well...it's about me and I don't scrap alot of ME pages!! Riding horses is my passion. I have been riding since I was five and it defines me and who I am.

I chose the next layout because fall is my favorite season. When I saw the dress my little girl has on I screamed in excitement. I could not wait for our fall trip so I could snap some pics of her in her dress!!
Wow! Only one more. I don't think I can pick. UGH!! Ok, ok! My last pick for ONE of my favorite layouts is a layout I recently completed. My mom and step-dad came to visit for Thanksgiving and since we only see them three times a year it was a very special time. Well, my mom can be trouble and boy did she make a big mess this day. She and my little girl decided to make cookies. The layout speaks for itself and is a WONDERFUL memory!

2008 Favorites by Chrystal Riddell

Gosh this was WAY harder than I thought it would be! I think I'll have to post the rest on my own blog because I hated to leave any out. Funny that all the ones I picked happened to have one photo, with lots of "white space." If you would have asked, I would have said using white space was a weakness. I guess this proves that we shouldn't be so hard on ourselves about little things and just enjoy what we create. It may end up being a favorite later!

I love all of these first, and foremost, because of the photos. They all are so full of personality and really bring the memory back all by themselves. The rest is just the fun stuff...

I still remember this day and get a little teary. 4th birthday celebration day at school. Jack didn't want to take off that crown, so I took some sweet photos at the post office of all places!

I could just eat her up! This page is all my favorites...my sweet Carolina laughing, Anna Griffin goodies, houndstooth with pink and green, glitter. Yum!

Again, love this one for the memory. And I was proud that so few products could make a favorite page. It really IS about the moments, not the stuff...

Ok, this one is a tad more materialistic.I loved these wood and fabric glittered leaves from the craft section. I also used a distressed paper scrap from almost two years ago. Go, me! And, of course, who could resist that precious face.

Thanks, Monica for giving me a good cry : )

Carrie's Favorites

We all picked our top 4 layouts of the year. Looking back on all of them it was really hard to narrow it down and it was fun to see how my style has changed and so has my photos. It was fun looking back. I challenge you to go back and pick your favorites too and post them on the Message Board, we would love to see them. Well here it goes....and I cheated but just a little.

I love this layout because I love the colors, I love the design and I love the photo...everything about it. From her hair blowing in the wind to the colored eggs in her basket.

I chose this one because I love black and white photographs and I love the stamped journaling. And because it was one of my DT entries.
I love this one...well frankly because I love PINK! And because I love that it is a layout about me and what I love.

And my last layout I love because one I created it with a TTT kit and because it was a little out of the box for me. I don't usually scrap in blue and yellow but it was perfect for this photo...and well the photos is awfully cute too!

And well I also love this little project but shhh don't tell that makes 5. I love mini's but this one is one of my favorites. I love that it is small enough to fit in my purse and I love Pink Paislee (also made with a TTT kit.)

Favorites of 2008

Monica has asked each TTT DT Members to pick the favorite LOs or projects that we created in 2008. So this week on the blog, each of us will showcase 4 creations (yes, we were limited to 4, and no, they are not all created with TTT kits).
And since I am the first one to go, here are mine. It was fun to revisit at a whole year of LOs but not easy to pick just four!

I picked this one because it was part of my submission to the DT call, it features one of my very favorite manufacturer (Scenic Route) AND it always makes me smile!

I really like this one because of its bright colors (which I tend to like), its design and its subject was different!

OK, I was going to choose another LO and realized that I had not yet picked a 12X12 page. As you may know I scrap a variety of sizes so I wanted to include that aspect here. I also should mention that it was made with my favorite TTT kit of the year :)

A Mini, because I enjoy making them and this one will be fun to look at in a few years!

Well, that's it for me! Thank you for stopping by!
